Theodore J. (TJ) Karklins, CEO
Mr. Karklins has led sales, operations, and finance functions across his 23-year career. He was previously the Vice President of Sales for Hosting.com, where he led the global sales team in the organic and inorganic growth of revenue by over 81% in 18 months and ramped the sales of Hosting.com’s cloud computing platforms to the prominent line of business. Previously, he was the CFO for an international joint venture company, where he guided the company through three years of 75%+ growth and a successful equity exit. Mr. Karklins has more than a decade of experience in the high tech industry, serving in front line sales, sales management, global consulting, marketing, and product development roles for Avaya, Lucent Technologies, and AT&T. Specializing in enterprise software and distributed technology systems, he was recognized for the creation of global CRM systems, outsourcing strategy, and managed services products. As an officer in the US Army, TJ was a combat helicopter pilot and company commander in the 10th US Cavalry. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Colorado, an MBA from the University of Denver, and is a fellow and alumnus of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Jay Battershell, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Battershell has been providing Managed Services to global businesses for over 15 years. As a senior executive at Clearview, Accenture, LSG Sky Chefs, and Uniden, Jay has demonstrated successful leadership of IT organizations and IT outsourcing teams in the delivery of business results while continuing to decrease the total cost of ownership for IT. He has provided IT leadership and services for businesses of various scope, size, and maturity from startups to Fortune 500 firms and has held key roles in sales, planning, and delivery of vital business solutions (including ERP, supply chain, back office, and B2B) and the transformation of business functions through organization change, governance and strategic alignment, and sourcing solutions. Jay has a BA in Information Sciences and a MBA from Baylor University.
David Tordoff, VP of Compliance and Contracts
Mr. Tordoff has been in the information technology industry for over 30 years, performing in the areas of outsourcing, marketing, business development, logistics, and service. He is an accomplished professional in international and domestic commercial and consumer products and services. David has an extensive business and development background in solution crafting. He is adept at developing and delivering technology solutions and services to both private and public sectors. His experiences include: strategic business development with expertise in market analysis, outsourcing, and corporate and product branding. He is highly experienced in concept development, contract authorship and negotiations, and business process development. Since joining Clearview, he has been instrumental in the delivery of outsourcing fulfillment and business assessments with clients in manufacturing, telecommunications, travel, and e-business.
Garry Jennings, VP Infrastructure Services
Mr. Jennings has over thirty years of I.T. experience. Garry has had successful leadership positions for Clearview Data Center Operations, Federal government Space and Aeronautics research, development projects, and operations management for U.S. Space Satellite Operations. Garry has directed the strategic planning and implementation of all facets of I.T. solutions, including roles as a senior systems analyst and project manager. Garry has demonstrated successful leadership of projects of various scope and size while employed by Clearview and Fortune 500 firms, which have included strategic business solutions development and implementation, process change management, MRP, ERP, supply chain, back office, disaster recovery planning and support, high availability systems planning, and worldwide infrastructure operations. Mr. Jennings is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy and a former Air Force fighter pilot.
Robert Felps, Vice President and General Manager for Central Texas
Robert Felps has been architecting cost-saving solutions for global businesses for more than 25 years. As a technical consultant, he has directed large, mission-critical efforts for SBC, IBM, other Fortune 500 firms, and venture funded start-ups. His wide range of technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of business allows him to bring technology to benefit the bottom line. His work in many industries has made him a natural thought leader. In particular, he has been instrumental in helping clients deal with HIPAA compliance issues in the healthcare industry. Mr. Felps is a sought-after expert in disaster recovery and business continuity, as well as a published author. His work includes Illustrated UNIX®System V/BSD. He is the founder and president of the World Entrepreneurs Network, created to assist entrepreneurs around the world. In his spare time, Mr Felps enjoys traveling and volunteering.
Ximena Cole, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing
Ximena brings extensive experience building and leading profitable, high growth enterprise software business in both traditional and SaaS models. She also helped lead the North Texas market at CyrusOne through the company’s growth years and its successful exit to Cincinnati Bell. She has an established reputation as a dynamic agent of change delivering momentum building sales leadership in mature, turnaround, high growth and start-up environments ranging in size from 10 million to 4 billion in revenue.
Ximena graduated from University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in management information systems. She has worked in technology and software sales for the past 22 years in leadership roles with companies such as CyrusOne, Oracle Corporation, CA Technologies, Right Now technologies, Scitor, and Great Plains.
Hilary Palmer, Director, Marketing
Ms. Palmer is an innovative senior marketing and business consultant who helps corporate and agency clients build new businesses and new brands. With more than 20 years experience, both on the agency and corporate side, she brings insights and know-how to new business endeavors. As Director of Marketing for Clearview, she is responsible for branding, public relations, and promotion. In addition, she consults with Clearview clients on their brand and marketing strategies and programs. Hilary spent seven years at The Richards Group after a 16-year tenure in marketing at EDS and A.T. Kearney. At The Richards Group, she was the executive responsible for relationships with Atmos Energy Corporation, Orametrix Corporation, Schlumberger, GuideStone Financial, and Nokia, among others. Ms. Palmer is an alumna of the University of Texas.
